What are Rubber Chippings?
Rubber chippings are also known by the names like a rubber bark, play chips, rubber mulch, and rubber chips etc. These are basically of three types and are widely used for horse riding purposes. The three types of chippings are rubber trax, rubber ads and rubber seals. They are mainly recycled from older tyres and rubber seals. The Rubber Chippings are cleaned and screened so that it is not dangerous for the horses. Since the Rubber Chippings are made from the recycled products, they are environmentally friendly as well. By using these chippings we can prevent the raw materials from passing over to the landfills and thereby it helps in reducing pollution from the burning tyres.
Rubber Chippings are very low maintenance material. These are largely used for landscaping and hence serve as a tested ‘play safe’ rubber bark for keeping the little ones free and safe.
